Pittsboro, NC - 2,700 Sq ft

The Lewis Freeman House serves as the office of Hobbs Architects in the heart of downtown Pittsboro, NC (Chatham County).  The house is on the National Register of Historic Places and is located on one of the original parcels in Pittsboro.  Mr. Freeman was an African American merchant in Pittsboro who purchased his freedom in the early 1800’s.  His house was carefully renovated for the needs of our office in 2016.  An historic log structure from a similar time period was relocated to the site and renovated to serve as our large conference room.
