Sanford, NC - 13,600 Sq ft

The Veterinary Medical Technology Building at Central Carolina Community College is one of seven that Hobbs Architects has completed with the Central Carolina Community College and perhaps is the longest running with early planning for the new veterinary medical education building beginning in 2009. The Veterinary Medical Technology Program at Central Carolina Community College was the first of its kind in NC, and as demand for veterinary technicians increased, CCCC expanded enrollment and commissioned a new classroom and kennel building at their Lee County Campus. Sited next to an existing kennel building that had been outgrown, the new building provides much needed light filled kennel spaces for canines and felines and offers hands-on teaching labs for the animals and students, along with general classroom spaces.
