CLIFFS OF THE NEUSE STATE PARK - BATH HOUSE

The bath house includes public changing rooms with bath and toilet facilities. A concession counter with a check-in point services bathers. The wide overhanging roof provides shade and protection in rain storms and all areas are naturally ventilated through cupola vents. The structure has textured concrete block walls with exposed wood beams and roof decking. Special attention was paid to site issues to ensure a minimum disturbance to the natural slope of the land. The trail from the parking lot to the boathouse is handicapped accessible.
